12 replies I've uploaded videos (my point of view) from the latest tournament on my youtube channel. I'd like to recommend you to watch these videos if you want to start playing on the highest level in CS2D. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Also if you want to become a competitive player I can give some tips and prepare you for upcoming tournaments or leagues. Enjoy.

No one likes it.
It has one good side which is making every player start as a noob, giving "less skilled" players more chance. Recoil mode makes whole game less dynamic and in case of competitive gaming it expands the gap between ct and tt even further, meaning CT has even more advantage now.
Also ye, like someone mentioned, most of "pros" dont like it. @ Milriko: I see. However I don't understand how it makes the gameplay less dynamic, considering how the gap between pistols and primary weapons shortens itself and how the weapons become harder to control. You have to stay steady to aim more precisely. CTs often use static randoms (learnt positions and pixels before matches). The counter-attack for that was simply running more and shooting from different positions by TTs but as you know with recoil it is even harder to hit an enemy for Terros (+there's ofc a difference already between m4 and ak).
It is just one example out of few. @ Milriko: I see. You (the competitive community) should totally try to discuss this with @ DC and @ SQ so you could shape this new system in a more balanced and better way. They already discussed it SQ Moderator Offline
@ pepinakiller: Not really. There are half experience people that wants to work on this, and another half which doesn't care or doesn't understand what can be done.
