I am old player and i have nostalgia. I would like to know what are working to lift the game again, or if he just fell by the wayside. Thank DC for this game that already brought me a lot of fun.

I'm preparing nothing in regards to CS2D to be honest. No major updates (new features) are planned. I'm only doing maintenance updates (bug fixes).

There are two major reasons for this:

1. I have limited time and prefer working on new projects (Stranded III)

2. The CS2D code base and engine are horribly outdated. It doesn't make much sense to stack more stuff on top of it. I love CS2D but building on top of a broken foundation isn't a smart idea and doing a full re-write with modern tech isn't an option either right now (because of 1.)

There is thread cs2d CS2D Mobile Dev. Blog (#25) however if you're interested in mobile games (that's user SQ's project though - I'm not working on it).

I guess this game needs a second chance. I still like it although all the available new games nowadays.
CS2D has a special charm.. Maybe the admin should ask for help from users here on the forum, we got many skilled guys around.

CS2D already had a second chance on Steam Greenlight, the revival didnt last very long though, but i think it's still livelier on steam than it was before that.
