New NPCs:

Survivor:
Image:Hostage(1-8 )
Weapon:Galil
Default HP:125 hp
Other:Kills T zombies,kills CT only if they attack


Tank(Real Tank,not zombie):
Image:Tank.bmp(Already have Tank image)
Weapon:RPG launcher
Default HP:750 hp
Material-Metal
Other:Tank doesn't move but it will launch rockets at everyone that tank saw


Robot-
Image:Robot.bmp(Not maden,but if DC accepts this idea I hope he'll make it)
Weapon:M249/Rocket Launcher
Default HP:500 HP
Material:Metal
Other:Robots won't have mercy,they'll kill everyone on their way.


Sniper-

Weapon:AWP/Scout
Default HP:125
Other:Sniper NPC will be really hard to find in the grass.
They'll shot Ts only.


I hope DC will add at least 1 of those NPCs.

Probably not. But the survivor is a nice idea.

No, NPC cant attack another NPC.
If they would attack, zombies will kill a survivor super-fast;
NPC only attack, they never move while they are attacking. So survivors will die in a minute.
Tank?; Hm, bad idea because DC still made a multi-sized NPC-Player.
So they will be 1 tile size like a normal player.
It will be same shit with tank lua scripts.
And what the fuck is material?
Robot; err its a fail. Just use Soldier NPC for it.
Sniper; What do you think about if the map is dust-tiled ?
Grass is just shit, everyone can see it at de_dust.
Theres no script like npc shot only t's or ct's at the moment.
But i think you can change Soldier's weapon to AWP.

No, everyone can change their IP in a sec. its not about ipconfig.
And if some guys using ipconfig, its really silly.

The player would be able to get an 'assist' on a kill, where (I'm sure you all know) if, for example, CT no.1 damaged T no.1 for 50HP, then CT no.2 damaged T no.1 for 50HP again, then CT no.2 would get 10 points, whereas CT no.1 would get 5 (10 damage done = 1 Point).. or something along those lines.

Damage/point system is silly, but it maybe good at hit/point system. Every hit to player gives you 1 point.
But(!) DC is making this for hobby so he will not make this.

Which comes to my next command.

Example: removeentity(12,23)

It will remove any entities located there, and return false if there is none. If will also remove existing ones from the map, but won't save.

OH and my next suggestion, turrets that attack each other, that's not possible in lua yet x.x

Oh while I'm at it...ability to have tiles that aren't restricted to the 32x32 grid, so it's actually very challenging.

Lua lag compensation v1 should be implemente into the dedicated software if it cant be done into the game engine.

If any thing here is my coherent opinion on how DC can make his soldier NPC universal and modular to keep every one happy.

Note that it will include a substantial amount of work but it will sure as hell shut up 99% of the people currently complaining and make CS2D better in general.

For starters expand the soldier NPC into its own neutral faction with yellow marker color for it along with the neutral buildings.

Basically their should be 4 different soldier/human NPC entity labeled as soldier 1,2,3, & 4 respectively.

These human NPCs should use the same gfx format as regular CS2D players and be animated "pistol / rifle reloads, same walking/running legs, and zombie" This will make it compatible with the existing CS2D skins.

But my main point is that the humans NPCs would pretty much behave like regular CS2D bots in that they can pick up and buy weapons as well as reload and attack opposing factions "CTs, Ts, and zombies."

For DCs sake all he would have to do is take his original CTs and make them a dark grey/black and tada a neutral black operations team that would fit into the CS universe.

Their AI would be identical to that of the regular bots in regards to nav points on maps and combat. in DE maps they would also be able to spawn with or pick up the bomb or defuse kit and complete objectives. When they do and if they succeed then both the CTs and Ts it counts as if they lost the round.

Same thing for hostage or VIP maps in that the Neutral NPCs can be set to either support the Ts or CTs and or complete their objectives or just remain neutral and attack everybody.

Now on to the soldier/human NPC in of it self. This is what will make it universal for everyone's needs.

The entity should have these sub options menus where you can pick the following for the individual NPCs to spawn with. If not they will spawn with only a knife and will have to buy or pick up a weapon just like bots.

Mealee
"choose what mealee weapon the NPC uses as a default IR knife, machete, wrench, chainsaw exc."

Primary
"choose the primary weapon IE rifles, shottys, SMGs, snipers, and special weapons like the RPG, laser, exc"

Secondary
"choose what pistol"

Explosives/Special kit
"choose weather or not the NPC has grenades or the bomb/Defuse kit for DE maps"

Armor
"choose what armor its equipped with IE kevlar to regular armor, medic armor, medium armor exc"

Health
"choose how much HP the NPC spawns with but the default is always 100"

Objectives "is the same for all soldier NPCs"
"choose weather or not the neutral NPCs will attack by planting bombs / defusing them in DE maps or if they will remain neutral and just attack opposing factions.

so thus for the options

CT = NPCs will side with the counter terrorists and be capable of defusing bombs, protecting the VIP, or rescuing hostages

T = NPCs will side with the terrorists and be capable of completing their objectives.

Neutral = NPCs will remain neutral and attack any and all other factions and NPCs aside from other neutral NPCs and buildings. This would also be the default setting.

Also note that neutral buildings and mines are friendly to these 4 NPCs.


And with this CS2D would have a neutral NPC faction to complement regular game play and make it more dynamic. It would also add an element of re playability for single player game play.

also note that in zombie game modes when a zombie player kills a soldier NPC it would add a bot to the zombie team.

My advanced zombie mode and gib ideas I posted here before would also have to be taken into account.

Also to DC if you are reading this if any thing what I would really want you to implement is adding 2 and 3 round burst sounds for the Glock and FAMAS instead of using the same old sounds for both fire modes

I think it's a good idea..guided that you are able to change the NPCs damage factor individually.
