I downloaded your maps. However, not to put you down in any way, the maps could definitely be much better. They are some of the worst-made maps I have ever seen for cs2d. Although, I HAVE seen much, much worse.
If you want to make maps that people will actually enjoy playing, please spend more than 15 minutes on each map. From viewing and playing the maps, it appears you spent very little time slapping a bunch of tiles on the map, in no particular manner, just sloppily placed in hopes of resembling something. In csde_druglab, I like your use of custom tiles (mine, in fact), but they are poorly put together, making the map look bad. Your assault map is just a quickly edited version of cs_assault, where you copied and pasted lights everywhere and deleted a few walls.
I am trying to give you as much constructive criticism as I can and as least amount of put-downs. However, if you are going to make maps, spend much more time on them, and don't release them until they are of much, much higher quality.

justin: That is a GREAT piece of advice, although a little pointed....I spent around an hour or more on each of my maps, and I didn't even have custom tiles or sprites!!

as far as mapping time goes, in comparison, i spend roughly 4-6 hours on each map. Sometimes more (not all at once). I usually make a map over 3+ days, working an hour or two each day. My longest map was csde_airport, which I spent about 2 hours designing (graphing layout), 3-4 hours making tiles, and maybe around 15-20 hours total fulling completing the map, including building the map (placing tiles), waypointing, placing sprites, placing effects (smoke, etc.), creating bombspots and hostages, setting teleporters, and any other Entities, and bot-testing the maps for glitches. I did all this over about a 2-month period (from early january to mid or late february 2006). Because of the acute attention to detail in that map, It has been praised by most who have played it as my best map.
See, that is how you make a good map. On csde_airport, I may have gone overboard a little, but with my other maps, I still spend a fair amount of time on them, making sure they are very high-quality and up to my standard of excellence. I simply will not make my map final and post it unless I feel I have done as much work on it as necessary.

These were thrown together really fast, in fact, it appeared that you didn't even test them because there was goblly guck still over the guns that you edited. Also, you could use some shading of some sort, just to get the quality up.
So, I edited your Weapons, Installation document, and I added a edited version of the knifeslash gfx (which you also forgot) and uploaded them:

Yep, and the knifeslash is pretty major. The knife looks dorky without it.
Anyhow, I hope you liked the shading.....:)
