What your suggesting could take a long long time. With lots of scripting.

I think we should make the basic framework of the game first. Meaning, get it so that we can most multiple islands, also so that all those islands are randomly generated but still have the sense of a custom made map, and get all the animal ideas working.

From the looks of things, we just might be making the animals able to run, sneak, jump, etc. We'll see.

After we get the basic frame work done, then we can turn our attention to little details. This is my own personal opinion.

Sorry, I don't deal in german.

Your going to have to find someone who understands German and English to help you with that.

The ones I know about are, Hurri, and McLeaf.

My studies have already started, and I'm already questioning my commitment to this project because basically. I'm having a hard time finding time to do much of anything I want to do.

@Lion_Hearted No offense taken it's good you've put it right and there's no need to explain why you've done it, I'm not feisty type

About Mc_leaf's Stranded Titanium - I have played it and there is amazing number of new/edited stuff, it's basically Stranded 2.9 There is still a lot of work to be done (it's alpha version after all), but when this is ready... it'll be awesome!

It's a little personal question, I suggest not to ask those and if you have to, do so via PM..

Really awesome models (& textures), dude! And you obviously understood making low-poly models. Also extremly nice pictures!

But not been here since over two months...? Oh, man... please not another unfinished mod and not even some (really good!) stuff to download...

also about the maps il give you a little idea of what i think

after looking at the picture read the notes below...

It's in fact a good idea to divide a great map into several small ones especially to save a lot of performance speed.
Unfortunately you're not the first guy with that idea... :p

And also it's quite tricky to implement that idea with the script engine of SII. I thought about a solution by changing the source code (which is still much effort) so you have just a little menu to manage the whole set of maps. First results can be seen here:

If you're crazy you could connect up to 100 maps.

But actually there's only working that preview menu in the moment.

the feature in this mod is awesome it's in German but i think its easy to understand even if you cant read German.

Oh wow! Great mod!

Who made it?

No, honestly. This is just a buggy alpha release so I spent no effort to translate the hole stuff into english. But of course I plan the official release also in english (and I guess some has to help me with that translation ).

I will help with this mod.Use my Vehicle mod as the .EXE for the game as I added a Camera to the source code so the camera views are fixed when in vehicles .Also I was working on a wind code , that makes sailing way better.Vehicle mod is here. http://www.unrealsoftware.de/forum_posts.php?post=255133#jn

One thing if DC could tell me how to change the source code so I can place objects and items out side the Square border , would be awsome.

I think, you should apply the support of DX9.0 graffic, pixeling and special effects... Cause on DX7.0 this is TOO good. And in that way, we will be needed an "supercomputer". I do have an problems in "Massive Mod", a little "slideshow" after sleeping and while "running". More than I am playing it on almostly MIN.

I think, it can be called as a "Stranded III", you should ask DC on the help, cause, praticaly, it's a new game, not a mod. I believe, he could been able to rewrite the game main (uneditable) scripts, that will add DX 9.0, DX 10. And a changing of weather, by moving clouds that are moving while playing the game, and what can brings good or bad weather.

And now I guess, we should wait until the next summer.

No, this won't be stranded III.
I know the graphics are really good but the thrue graphics of stranded will be something like this:

Dc said it in an old thread about stranded III.
