In fact, you could do that.
Some settings:
Time that people have to wait for the next round.
Random map of your sort choice, cave, open etc. Then it just chooses a random one.
Amount of players in a team, randomly chosen.
Normal weapons, or random ones. It could solve the issue of no hoster to choose the settings. And would be worth doing.

If I use the client version I would need to press start game after every round and play (no spectating) which would be a real pain.

All of cs2d's servers are dedicated (well...the good ones at least :))

Wasnt that declined before ?
I dont remember all reasons why that was rejected, but maybe if servers had ability to vote to kick players, would be nice to see dedicated one.

I cant say that i like to think much
Game is funny at all, i love the easy ways to modify it, make maps and stuff. And also gameplay faster than in Worms

Carnage contest is the best turn-based game I have ever played. I hope it gets popular over time.
