System Requirements for Windows 8
The Windows 9 or 10 stuff is to come yes but that doesn't make Windows 8 and 8.1 any worse that's just stupid to think. Windows 9 or 10 is just their next generation product essentially and you can't say Windows 8 is bad because of it especially if you have no idea what you're talking about. I'd recommend reading more about each operating system before making crazy assumptions that don't add up.

It's like many things you create as a programmer, alpha is 0.9 or below and 1.0 is sort of the complete package.

Windows 8(.1) is faster, secure and has fixed many leaks before people knew about them. It's also faster than Andriod (Linux) on many many manyyyy phones. So actually it's great.
Thumbs up for BIOS 2.1s start-time on Windows 8(.1). And on the same laptop for older versions you could grab a coffee and watch TV before Skype started

~1000 programmers in groups of around 20 a. 30 creating each different things at the same time. Also old code can be easily fixed and made faster.
It's a multi-billion dollar company. Not so hard to figure out.
