@user Infinite Rain: No, I'm not sure at all. Chances are actually good that they wouldn't do anything bad to me. Valve is pretty open minded and they supported or at least tolerated most fan projects. I'm not aware of any case were they did something bad to a fan project. Still... I don't know what would happen.

I know this would take a time to do and i know you're busy , easiest way to do that , ask us users to make good sprites or sounds (CS maps should be removed and not fixed or changed)....

This game is slowly dying.
I started playing this game while searching a popular Balkan website about Counter-Strike 1.6. Seemed as a cheeky lil' game so I gave it a try as I love indie games. I quickly fell in love with it, you can modify almost everything in the game, the scripting, graphics and mapmaking skills required are hilariously low and it's a great starting point for a content creator.
Most people came here while browsing for mods or map making for 1.6, the old players sadly grow up and leave and we're left with no new players as there is no interest in CS1.6 anymore. I've recently came back to playing the game and there are barley 100-200 players.
Renaming the game is possible and as it is a /NON/ profit fanmade there is little to no chance of Valve acting againts our little community.

So DC please, we beg of you and your team listen to our pleas and make CS2D great again!
