8 Antworten I was wondering if you would be willing to say what you used to create this game, how old you were when you did it, and what you used to handle networking. I am 14, but already interested in game development. I am looking to make a game similar to this one, but don't worry, it wont be half as good as cs2d. Do you think it would be possible for maybe my friend and I to make a game similar to this one, that could also be playable on the internet. I do not know DC's age, but I do know that he has been programming for some time and uses primarily Blitz Basic/Blitz3D/BlitzMAX for game development.
Hope this gives you at least some information. DC can fill in the rest, if necessary, as I don't know it all. Thanks. Also, DC, I was wondering if you recommend any books that would give me a head-start into blitz? DC Admin

recommending any books is hard since I'm german and I did not read any english book about this topic ...

pat, do u already program or are you just diving head first into the game programmin pool? just wondering
PS: theres a wealth of information online as well as a very fully documented library on blitz at their site and blitzbasic is actually more akin to some non-basic languages than a true basic language 
Uhm I have been interested in game-dev for a while(Over a year), and have done some very basic things. I own 4 books on programming, but bought them when i was a noob and they are all about different languages. 2-C++, 1-Blitz3d, 1-C++&Directx.
