Is it possible to like 'paint' an area in the map editor and copy it somewhere with all the tiles and entities?

I think you can do that in the new version, I haven't tried it yet, but I hear the new Editor has a lot of new options.

No.
You can copy everything one by one.
But not with an option copy all or something.

No, but it would be an incredible to have if it's ever implemented into the map editor. Best way is to just printscreen the area you want and do it one by one, a bit tedious, but it gets the job done.
