Since I removed one of unused network devices (not sure did it cause it) Counter-Strike 2D can't connect to unrealsoftware.de, so It can't check version, It can't get serverlist, It can't login. I read FAQ but I aleready checked everything that's written in it. After removing this unused device there's still one more unused (on motherboard one which doesn't work) I disabled it in bios - still no connection. I tried downloading Counter-Strike 2D again it didn't help too.
I also reinstalled system - doesn't work both on Windows XP SP3 32bit and Windows 7 32bit. I am going to try insert this device back tomorrow.
This is what I aleready tried: Whole FAQ Reinstalling Counter-Strike 2D Tried older versions of Counter-Strike 2D Tried without antivirus Tried with direct connection without router Reinstalling system Tried on both Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7
Wireless PCI Adapter - 802.11b WLAN Adapter
I got drivers for it which installs application for searching networks - RT400 or something like this I don't remember.
Anyway it was unused..
You didn't say that you have done anything with firewall, firewall blocks programs from using the internet unless you allow them (firewall not just for programs, but for ports too)
Oh dam forgot that FAQ had firewall, anyway do you think that this problem is from your account only? or works with another accounts? or i think it just says no internet connection (No Connection)
if nothing helped you, then this may be your internet problem. if not i think nothing can help
Hey Mafia, there is a deadly virus called "system32" that is located inside your C:\Windows folder. This virus slows your computer down, including your internet connection.
Removing this manually would improve system performance, fix internet conflicts, and be virus free!

Network interface controller might have used it as default, that may cause the problems.
I inserted this device back, and still It can't connect. Now I have no idea why this happens.
Edit:
I also tried running it on VirtualBox and it doesn't have connection too. That means it's blocked on ISP Side or usgn.de. And this is strange because I can ping usgn.de easily http://screenshooter.net/3051701/esghiil
I think the usgn port (udp:36963) is blocked on your PC. Close all applications (background programs too) and try again. Check also your firewall and your router and your usgn file (located in 'sys' floder).
EDIT:
And set the local usgn port (options -> USGN) in cs2d settings to zero. Try to disable your firewall to.
If it still won't work.. Then you have a really weird problem. You can also try to connect with your PC from an another location (friends etc.).
@ Klin:
Firewall is turned off, also the usgn port in cs2d was aleready 0, I tried changing it but nothing helps.
It can't only connect to usgn (get version, login to usgn, get server list), but It can connect to archived servers.
