hello, I seached though the forums and was unable to find any info. my question is, is there way to replant trees or get logs with out cutting them down. most of the stuff now require alot of logs and I want to make sure if i can renew them before I chop em all down and get stuck.

its not the lumbering skill but the planting skill. plant a lot of stuff like grain to increase this skill. later you will be able to plant bushes and trees by taking branches/leafes in your hand and using the ground with E.
click the skill in the char-menu to get more information.

haha! i got to plant trees now. next is the isseu on cotton bushes. can i plant them also? or do they regen?

i had same problem before and i made a script to fix it in the game i took the branch making and made this script

this is put in the stranded2_en\mods\Stranded II\sys\combinations_basic note pad

it takes 15 branches and one slime to make a log. i thought it was a good idea

afaik they do regenerate after night, but not all hp. So you could just let them regenerate some days.
In S2Ext you can plant them also, but it's not in english
